Talk about living your brand!
You know that part of Broadway that people never talk about? Between Herald Square and Madison Square, upper 20s. Yea, its ghetto as shit, in case you’d think otherwise.
But I did notice something of interest in the window, branded apparel. So, in addition to the Nike swoosh, shoes now feature the logos and colour scheme of Coke, Pepsi, Sunkist, Laffy Taffy, Kit Kat, Mountain Dew, Bubble Yum, and maybe a few others I failed to mention. Now, my question is simple – who would want to walk around NYC with the logos of candy and soda brands flashed across their bodies and feet? What do they get out of it? Do Kit Kats really have street cred?
I don’t think I will ever understand fashion, or consumerism for that matter.
And of course there’s one for the stupid American flag.
