Ok, sorry for the obtuse Naomi Klein reference, but anyway, there are some new logos being thrown around these days, and not all of them have evolved for the better.
I really, really, hate to be that guy who critiques pieces of design for sport, but I have to note that the new Baskin Robbins logo scheme is just really out there! Now, am I growing too old too fast to appreciate it? Are the kids (and other ice cream junkies) so wowed by typography that is, for lack of a better word, wacky? I say no. I say that these guys have cocked up and will soon feel the backlash for marring an old and cherished brand for a tried and tested chain.
