I like to compliment work done by others, especially when that work is risky and ballsy and in other senses features an excess of gaul, and here is one:
An Apple store, I believe in San Francisco, has sported a broken glass window dressing in a brilliant effort to draw attention to the merchandise in the center, in this case the iPod Hi-Fi.
Now, the coolest thing about this is that it wouldn’t work if people weren’t so damn nosey and curious. It works on the principle of the “Train Wreck” – they want to see what could possibly have caused such distruction. Well done to whoever decided to risk it on the front of the Apple store. Of course, with the steep price tag, I don’t think the iPod Hi-Fi is going to sell terribly well.
